Household Budget is a budgeting app for households where bills aren’t (or shouldn’t be) split 50/50 — three roommates on one lease, or a mortgage divided by income rather than evenly. An equitable split proportional to income instead of an equal split.

- Per-bill split options: each bill can be split evenly (divided by headcount) or equitably (each person’s share is their salary ÷ household income × bill amount).
- People & income shares: add people with yearly salaries and instantly see each person’s percentage of household income.
- Per-paycheck contributions: bills map to per-pay amounts based on frequency, and bi-weekly payers are handled correctly — no overfunded months from the occasional third paycheck.
- Local-first & private: all data stays in the browser’s localStorage; export/import your budget as text with no accounts or server.
